2nd January – A mindful moment
A moment of mindfulness. Find a moment of mindfulness somewhere during the course of your day. This is not doing a formal mindfulness practice or a whole session, instead finding opportunities to be mindful throughout the course of the day. What went well today?
Take a moment to be mindful and think about what went well today. When we think about our day it’s easy to jump to the things that went badly or less well. Maybe you ate all the things you said you would avoid, maybe you didn’t do your workout, maybe you didn’t get out for a walk, or you didn’t manage to tick off all the things on your to-do list. Morning quiet time
Morning quiet time.I really cherish my calm and quiet time in a morning, after I’ve got up, put the coffee on and after the cats are fed, but before the kids are up.I usually do a mindfulness practice, sometimes I might also do a bit of yoga or stretching, or I might just sit and reflect with my coffee.It’s a little oasis of time to focus and collect myself for the day before the whirlwind of the day starts.It’s a very small habit I added to my routine a long time ago, but it makes a big difference to the day.Where could you add a few minutes of quiet mindfulness…
