Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
New Year new aims. I have set myself a new goal for this year and taken on the challenge of walking the Yorkshire three peaks. This is a challenge of nearly 25 miles over 5000 foot half of climbing, taking in the three peaks route. I am absolutely delighted to be doing this in support of St Theresa’s Hospice, Darlington, which provides care for people towards the end of life. ar starts, traditionally we make resolutions. But, this year, instead of the usual list of things to do and things not to do, maybe we should aim bigger?
Be a human being, not a human doing.
I have had a lovely couple of weeks off work, away from social media and totally unplugged. We’ve recently moved, to a house which is a bit of a ‘project’, so it was also great to get away from the endless to-do list of all the things that go along with moving and renovating. I went with the best intentions to leave work at work, and leave the to-do list undone, knowing that it will all still be there when I got back.
