Group consultations project
Today I am incredibly proud to say that my work has been published in the Lifestyle Medicine Journal 📔 In this project, I designed and ran a course for a group of patients to explore how they might implement lifestyle changes in their lives and see the effects. We found that after attending the course, patients’ wellbeing improved, they lost weight and felt more confident and motivated to make positive changes in their lifestyles, which was really great to see. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this happen – my colleagues at the practice who helped me run the course, my co-authors, my reviewers, the journal team…

15th January – self-compassion
Practice having self-compassion At the moment we are all dealing with so many different pressures and sources of stress. 11th January – Go for a run
Go for a run (or get active anyway you like!) I was sooooooo pleased to see that the ice & snow had melted and it was safe enough to go out for a run – I am always impressed when I see people out running when it is snowy and icy, but I am way too much of a scaredy-cat and just end up looking like Bambi on ice.
