Founder and owner of Castle Health Coaching Ltd Dr Gibson MBChB DFSRH MCRGP DipBSLM/IBLM is an experienced GP with 20 years’ experience of working in the NHS,  she has a special interest in Lifestyle Medicine and is also a qualified coach, health coach and coaching supervisor.

Dr Gibson’s experience includes:

• 20 years experience in medical practice, including over 12 years’ experience as a GP in North East England.
• Post-graduate diploma in Lifestyle medicine.
• ILM level 7 diploma in executive coaching & mentoring
• Diploma in transformational coaching.
• ILM level 7 diploma in coaching supervision (due for completion June 2024) 
• Experience of providing both clinical supervision and professional coaching supervision for both individual and groups across the NEY region.
  • Provision and facilitation of regular peer supervision networks and regional learning events. 3 years’ experience providing support and mentoring to over 150 coaches working across the NEY region in the ARRS roles in primary care.  Supporting coaches to maximise their potential through learning and self-development and connecting to facilitate shared learning across systems. Providing support to system leaders to facilitate uptake and integration of coaching roles.
• Currently working clinically at:
  • Clinical lead, Post-COVID service, County Durham and Darlington, NHS Foundation Trust
  • Sessional GP

Castle Health & Coaching current & previous experience

• Coaching Supervision for NENC ICS, in collaboration with Kera Consultancy, for NENC Primary Care Training Hub.
• Coaching Supervision for West Yorkshire ICS, in collaboration with Kera Consutlancy.
  • For NENC & WY ICS areas we provide high quality specialist coaching supervision for health coaches working in primary care in the NHS. We also provide clinical supervision, and peer support and networking for all personalised care roles across the areas.
• Coaching Supervisor to Health Coaching team, Primary Healthcare Darlington.
