What made me sign up for this challenge? I have been reflecting and trying to work out what exactly made me decide to sign up to drag myself over 5000+ft of hills, over 25miles of country side. Dr Gibson’s 3peaks training update, number 1. Not even started yet! Does anyone else struggle to get going with their training when they start something new? Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
New Year new aims. I have set myself a new goal for this year and taken on the challenge of walking the Yorkshire three peaks. This is a challenge of nearly 25 miles over 5000 foot half of climbing, taking in the three peaks route. I am absolutely delighted to be doing this in support of St Theresa’s Hospice, Darlington, which provides care for people towards the end of life. I’m also honoured to have been asked to help the St Theresa’s team in supporting the preparation for their three peak challenge events.
