It’s ok to not be ok

Apologies for the split infinitive, after several attempts I still couldn’t get it to sound right, but I think you know what I mean… it’s ok if you’re not ok.

Mental illness is such a common problem, figures from @mentalhealthfoundation suggest that each week 1 in 6 people experience symptoms of mental illness. Figures from a local GP practice survey a few weeks ago suggested nearly a quarter of GP appointments at the moment are about mental health issues as so many people are struggling through these difficult times.

So, if you are not feeling ok, it is more than ok to ask for help… here are some useful numbers & websites in a great infographic by our local services in County Durham, and there’s national numbers on there too for those not lucky enough to live in the North East 😁
