” I did just what you said Doctor, I just started walking a but more and kept going and I feel so much better for it. In fact, I’m up to five miles, two or three times a week now!”

One of the best parts of my job is when my patients come back to me and say things like this.
This patient is a superstar, when I first started encouraging her to keep active she had just been diagnosed with a long term condition which will limit her ability to exercise, and at the time she was unable to to manage to get to my consulting room from the car park without being breathless. But she kept going and going, and now is doing brilliantly and feeling great.
